The power section of the downhole drilling motor consists of two major parts, the Rotor which is the internal shaft, and the stator which is the external tube that the rotor rotates inside of. The dimensional match between these two components determines how efficient the motor will perform. Gagemaker manufactures gages to inspect both the Rotor and the Stator. The other important part of every motor is the connector at each end both the rotor and stator. To ensure the highest quality and best fit of these threaded parts, you will want to use the JSS Pitch Diameter System to inspect the pitch diameter of both the pin and box connectors.
