Select the 5500 Series gage model, based on the size connectors being measured.

Select the thread roll model, based on the the thread form. (sold separately)
- Specify the yoke size: 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 2" or 3" TPF.

Select the setting standard: Round/Frame Style setting standards or MIC TRAC are available.

The MRP-5500 series of gages measures external diameters of rotary shoulder connections. These function diameter gages inspect the effects of all thread element variations and report deviations. The MRP-5500 gages must be preset to size before inspecting parts. A variety of setting standards are available.
To ensure maximum accuracy, the tapered arms of the gages use matched sets of precision ground thread rolls that seat in the threads during inspection. Each set of thread rolls is designed to API specifications to measure a specific thread form. Thread rolls are sold separately.
